Work with me · Fixed-scope projects

Senior product design, priced up front.

I offer three fixed-scope projects for teams building AI and complex software. Before anything starts, you know the price, the timeline, and exactly what you’re getting.

Coded Prototype Sprint

4 weeks · from €4,500

You get one core flow running on a live URL with real or seeded data, so stakeholders and users react to working software instead of a slide.

This isn’t a full app or MVP. It’s one flow of about 5 to 8 screens.

The projects

Exactly what’s included in each project.

I keep each project deliberately small: one flow, one design system, or one existing file. That’s how I can keep the price fixed. Below, I’ve spelled out what each one is and what it isn’t.

01

Coded Prototype Sprint

from €4,5004 weeks

I design and build one core flow as a working app on a live URL, using your design system or a clean token set.

What it isA working prototype of one core flow (about 5 to 8 screens) that people can click through and test on a live URL.

Best forTeams that need to see an AI flow working before they commit engineering time.

You get

  • A deployed URL
  • A repository handoff
  • A decision log
  • A Loom walkthrough
  • One revision round

Scope

One core flow of about 5 to 8 screens, with seeded or real data and live AI calls where the flow needs them.

This isn’t

  • A full product or MVP ready for paying customers
  • A multi-feature app, social network, or marketplace
  • A production backend, security hardening, auth, or payments
  • An App Store or Google Play release
  • User recruitment, a second flow, or ongoing maintenance

02

AI-Ready Design System Audit

from €4,5003 weeks

I audit the gap between your Figma library, component code, and AI tooling, and then give you a ranked plan to close it.

What it isAn audit of the design system you already have, with a ranked plan and starter guidance for your top 10 components.

Best forTeams whose Figma library and component code have drifted apart.

You get

  • A now / next / later roadmap
  • Annotated Figma
  • Starter guidance for the top 10 components
  • A playback session or Loom

Scope

A component and variant inventory, Code Connect coverage, token naming and export readiness, accessibility checks, and a three-screen AI readiness test.

This isn’t

  • Building or rebuilding your design system
  • Redesigning your product’s screens
  • Writing component code for your team
  • Team training or workshops
  • Multi-brand theming

03

Usability Engineering Readiness Review

from €6,0004 weeks

I check your usability-engineering file against IEC 62366-1 and FDA human-factors guidance before you submit.

What it isA readiness review of the usability-engineering file you already have, checked against IEC 62366-1 and FDA human-factors guidance.

Best forMedical device and diagnostics teams preparing a submission.

You get

  • A ranked remediation plan
  • A summative-plan outline
  • A 60-minute readout

Scope

A clause-by-clause gap matrix, critical-task and hazard-related scenario review, AI-output and automation-bias checks where relevant, and an IFU usability review.

This isn’t

  • Setting up a usability-engineering process from scratch
  • Writing or creating your usability-engineering file
  • Running formative or summative studies, or recruiting participants
  • Regulatory consulting, submission or sign-off
  • Design or conformity decisions, which stay with the manufacturer

Don’t have a usability-engineering file yet? Email me. Building the process and the file is a larger engagement, and I scope and price it separately.

Who you work with

You work with one senior designer who also builds.

I have more than ten years of experience across fintech, healthcare, Web3, and B2B software, including clinical monitoring for Bayer and Philips, usability engineering for QIAGEN, and conversational AI at AiListz. I take my own products from the first flow to shipped code, so the work you get from me is ready to build.

Gideon is a talented UI designer. He is responsive, he understands the requirements quickly and iterates quickly after a revision. I recommend for sure

He is a very good designer for sure and gives good recommendations on the project as well.

Questions

Before you get in touch.

Projects under €5,000 are paid in full before work starts. For projects at €5,000 and above, you pay 50% at kickoff and 50% on delivery. Once we’ve agreed on the scope, the price is fixed.

No. I work asynchronously in your Figma files and repository, with agreed review points and a Loom handoff at the end. If you want a short call, you can always book one.

We fix the scope before work starts. If you need more, I scope the extra work separately, so the original price and timeline don’t change.

Yes. The free AI feature review covers one flow and one question. Before a usability-engineering review, you can also book a €1,000 two-hour triage.

Yes. If you need one before sharing files, send it with your first email.

No. The Coded Prototype Sprint is one core flow of about 5 to 8 screens on a live URL, built so you can test an idea with real people. It isn’t a full product, an MVP for paying customers, or a multi-feature app. If you need that, we can scope it separately after the sprint.

Not in the readiness review. The review checks the file you already have and tells you what to fix before you submit. Setting up the process and writing the file is a larger engagement, and I scope and price it on its own.

It’s the price for the scope described on this page. If your product needs more, like a second flow or more components, you’ll get a fixed quote for that before anything starts.
